So this is the outcome of our first day.
Our dungeon is made out of “cards”, my name for pre-made dungeon parts which consists of 5*5 (or more) tiles. With those the player will visit a chaotic, but dynamic dungeon. The first day mostly was spent on pathfinding and creating dynamic meshes which utilize a texture atlas. For this I made a small test atlas. It will be looking better when my partner actually creates some real textures.
Speaking of graphics, some of the creatures have their base models now. As we won’t do animations (no time for this), they just get a static pose, and a texture. A short description of the creatures can be found on our blog.
Hopefully, today we get the movement of the @ working. 😉 Oh, and a name for the game.
