Day 2

The initial (and only, really) idea for this game was to use CSS 3D transforms for rendering a first-person view of the dungeon. So much time was spent fiddling with -webkit-transform, -webkit-perspective, and so on. The intention is to have something that looks closer to Dungeon Master, but using only generated content: just div elements and some styling. Here’s a test that should give an idea of what it will look like in the end:

The two most important tasks to finish tomorrow will then be fixing rotation of the player (it is completely broken at the moment) and lighting for the walls (currently only the floor and ceiling are handled.) Then the game can really begin.
