Day 3: “Tallow” dribbles along

Slow day again today, as my daughter is poorly. Also, nearly ran out of mead, but I found a half-bottle at the back of the cupboard. Huzzah!

Today, I populated my level with red spheres which mill around randomly – revealing Unity’s Random.Range(min.max) function has a definite bias. Will be replacing that with proper AI tomorrow though. Damage is dealt, but there’s no death case for player or monsters yet.

Tomorrow I must finish the core mechanics and get text messages displaying, so I can start setting up content. However, I have come up with some context. This game is called “Tallow”, and casts the player as a Victorian gentleman/lady tasked with clearing your family tomb of undesirable revenants.
