  1. I like the choice of colors and the sidebar health bars. The game feels a little bit blurry to play, but I like the animations of the shots – something I hoped to add to my own game.

    1. Hey, thanks for playing! Glad you liked it. Just curious, what do you mean by blurry? Game lag? Or, graphically? (I’ll admit I put 0 thought into the font selection, I would love to use something clearer like Consolas)

  2. Yeah, I decided to go with HTML5/Javascript this year. I know lots of people like the traditional ‘download and play’ but I didn’t want to use python/pygame (too slow) and my C/C++ is a bit rusty. 😉

    I DO think that browser roguelikes will be a great way to get new players interested in the genre, though. The days of terminal emulation are rapidly disappearing, if not totally gone.

    That said, I wonder if there is a way to ‘package’ up all this code in a non-browser? Doubtful but worth investigating. Thanks for playing!
