I’m going to throw my hat in the ring with ChromaRL – my first ever RL. Thematically I plan to centre around abstract colour, and Mechanically I hope to use an ikuraga conceit whereby the player’s status (colour) affects the alignment/aggressiveness/somethingness of the enemies and world. I’m not currently 100% committed to this idea as I don’t yet have anything too convincing in my head.
As it’s my first day at the rodeo (rogueo?), I don’t want extend much beyond something a functional game with my basic mechanical twists, so I’ll probably keep everything else super simple. I’ll be using libtcod, c++ and tea as my main development tools.
