Splitter: Work Begins

I’m starting work on Splitter now. I kept putting off starting because I’m scared of the clock ticking down.

Tick tock, Barnaby!

I’ve realized there’s loads of stuff I have to do which I could legitimately been doing outside of the week itself, such as planning how stats work, what kinds of damage I’ll have, working out varieties of monsters, how armour is going to work and so on.

Nevermind, I’m sure lots of other people are leaving it until the week itself to think of these things too.

In order to be calm enough to work on this I have set my goal to be “Fail, but leave a lovely screenshot”. I can’t be calm if I think there’s a chance I will succeed in making a fun, finished game in one week.
