Right, so I’m officially announcing the start of my attempt at this year’s 7DRL. Last year, I managed to create TrapRL in my own Python roguelike engine, but this year I’m planning on using C++ with SFML to create something better. The game’s name is SurvivorRL and will be a ‘remote island’ type survival game (rather than a zombie survival game or what have you), hopefully better done, if more generic than last year’s.
I’ll be posting devlogs twice a day, only on here, once at the start of the day and once at the end of the day, with a tally and pictures of what went right and/or wrong. Progress might be slow on account of having university courses to deal with at the same time.
