7DRL – Day 3

Breakthroughs in development always seem to happen while I’m at work doing something else.  This is probably the reason why I have never been interesting in a job coding…

My game design elements have been chosen using a blend of elements from Klondike solitaire and Rogue, and I have just started work on the form of the game.

Yesterday’s testing results are up in the design document, and the new test is posted on the blog.  I have two more days to get things ironed out before the heavy playtest session at the Fountain Square Brewery on Thursday evening, where I’ll wrangle a couple of my testers together and we will all drink beer and take turns playing and tweaking the game.  Pro tip: bribe testers with beer whenever possible.
