Okay people. I’m starting my 4th evening of work on this game. So far it’s great. I have a complete sector with 36 star systems, each star system is populated persistently with planets, ships, suns, bases, gas giants and asteroid fields.

Next up is fuel use and the 5-6 interactions in the game. Bump bump bump bump! That should only take a few hours to put together, as the architecture is all in place.

Then comes the real doozy. Movement and behavior of the enemy ships!

Figure 3 hours for interactions to be coded. Then 1 day minimum to get the enemy ships working. So all in all things are looking pretty good for an early completion.
