Rasatala – Day 5

In the midst of day five and things are well under control. I’ve spent part of today fiddling around with various gameplay issues such as complications with the ally system, prayer effects and have managed to get stuck into a few boring issues on my to-do list like help screens (pictured) and VI-keys.

Tomorrow is going to see finish coding the end game scenario, which is already nearly complete, iron out a few issues with the messages that the player sees which I’ve left undone for debugging reasons, implement a few consumables with hopefully interesting effects such as clouds of poison gas, ways in which to immobilise your foes, and now that I think about it, why not some kind of disguise system for the less savoury types to use to conceal their identity?! That should leave a clear day for polish, playtesting, balance and making an executable for easy distribution.
