A poorly understood ‘feature’ of Gamemaker, involving global variable declaration and object creation order, reared it’s ugly head. Hours later I finally tracked down the bad logic (or lack thereof). My game is now bug free as far as I can tell
KlingonRL is playable and fun, at least on its hardest setting. Tonight was going to be spent balancing and adding message feedback for your actions. Then tomorrow would be spent adding content and difficulty.
Tomorrow will be my last day of work. So do I add content or feedback? Easy decision. Stay up all night and do both! Feedback is grunt work, you can do that all bleary eyed. No problem.
