I found out about this year’s 7DRL on the day it started, so there’s that. My game might suck a lot, although hopefully less than last year’s (Rogue’s Labyrinth). Hopefully it won’t. But here’s the blurb I came up with for the registration page:
Face off opponents in the Rogue’s Arena; place walls to cut them off and destroy them one by one. Divide et impera!
Things the blurb doesn’t mention: enemies move in classic chess patterns, and it’s another one hitpoint game. Those were popular last year. I don’t know if they still are. But that’s pretty much all there is to it. Not a huge concept, so I should have some time to refine it.
Anyways, I’m going to go code now. Maybe I’ll make some good progress before the day’s up.
