Scroll – success!

Scroll is done!

Today was a scramble, getting 2 new types of levels, level selection screen, and victory animation in, while fixing serveral bugs playtesters found overnight. In the end, I finished 6 hours before deadline.

Scroll stats:

  • 3154 lines of haskell code (excluding level assets)
  • 3 different forms of semi-procedurally generated literary levels
  • 8 spells
  • 18 out of 26 a-z keys have some purpose in the game
  • 41 custom haskell data types
  • 1 player stat, LENGTH
  • 7 days

I’m very glad I chose to partcipate in this crazy 7drl!
