Project Dog (Day 3 & 4)

Not writing up a progress update yesterday was not part of my initial plan, but then again real-life doesn’t always respect plans. Due to work I didn’t have a lot of free time on my hands yesterday.

Today was spent mostly putting the final touches on terrain generation, I now have a workable solution in place for procedural terrain generation and two types of terrain in place. The way I’ve implemented it allows me to easily add more types of terrain later. I’m quite happy with how it is generated.


I’ve also given the implementation of regiment movement an overhaul and I’m currently working on the functionality for having a player character in a regiment. My plans for tomorrow is to have this finished and hopefully have the basics of the combat mechanics in place. At least some of them.
